Henderson Scout Reservation
Summer Camp
July 18th to July 23rd 2010
Located atop Crumhorn Mountain in the town of Maryland,
Henderson Scout Reservation has served as Otschodela Council's summer
camp since 1948. The camp is located 15 minutes northeast of
Oneonta and just 20 minutes from historic Cooperstown. The 2010
theme is "Time Travel".

Camp Fee: $240 ($120 paid by the troop /

Deposit: $50 per scout is due by March 10th

First Year Scouts will participate in the "Iroquois Trail"
program where they will learn skills to meet Tenderfoot to 1st
Class requirements. |
Medical Records
All campers at Henderson (youth and adult) must complete the
ANNUAL health and medical record #34605. This new for 2010
and the ONLY acceptable form. The form must be completed
and handed into the scoutmaster by June 30th. All medications sent
with the scouts (both prescription and over-the-counter) must be in
their original containers and clearly marked with the camper name and
troop number. All medications will be registered with the health
officer on Sunday at check-in and secured at the Health Lodge.
NEW REQUIREMENT: To comply with New York State Health Law, we
must have a copy of your child's immunization record (including dates)
on file.
Friday Barbecue
On Friday, friends and family are invited to the pork barbecue, which
will begin at 5:30pm. Barbecue tickets are sold at the Check-in on
Sunday. So, reservations will need to be provided to the
scoutmaster by June 30th. Prices are $7.75 for adults and $4.75
for children under age 12. |
